Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 17th Asia Pacific Responsible Care Conference (APRCC) hosted by TRCA in 2022 was held completely online. We appreciate your enthusiastic support and participation, and the 17th APRCC Webinar was a successful event.
During the 17th APRCC hosted by TRCA, we expressed our hope that the 18th APRCC could be held in Taiwan as an in-person event. With the gradual relaxation of border restrictions and improvement in the global pandemic situation, we are delighted to announce that the 18th APRCC will indeed be held in Taiwan as a physical event. The conference is scheduled to take place in Kaohsiung City, which is known as the center of Taiwan's petrochemical industry, from March 27th to 28th, 2024. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Asia Pacific Responsible Care Organization's partners for giving TRCA the opportunity to host the APRCC once again.
The conference's theme is "Responsible Care: Safeguarding Our Future." We will explore ways to uphold Responsible Care, take practical actions, and work together to achieve safer and more Sustainable Development Goals. We aim to ensure continued safety and prosperity and protect our common future. The global chemical industry has been actively and continuously improving its safety, health, environmental, and sustainable development performances. It has also been seeking solutions to global challenges such as climate change to fulfill its responsibilities as a member of the global community.
We cordially invite you to attend the 18th APRCC physical meeting scheduled to take place in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, on March 27-28, 2024. We welcome all partners interested in 2050 Net Zero, sustainable development, chemical management, and its safe operation. This event presents an excellent opportunity for attendees to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and collaborate towards a better future for our planet.
I extend my heartfelt wishes for the excellent health and happiness of you and your loved ones and success in your business. In the aftermath of five years, I earnestly desire that those unable to gather in person due to the pandemic will be able to reunite in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.
I am grateful for your unwavering support and look forward to seeing you in Taiwan in 2024!
